In 1973, Les and Arnold Rackham received their Tool and Die certification from George Brown College.  During the next six years they planned the launch of Burloak Tool & Die.  This took place in 1979.  Being quite young in their profession the brothers knew that close attention to quality, on time delivery and competitive pricing would guarantee them success in this demanding industry. 

Unconditional attention to these standards and changing technologies; together with the implementation of ISO and “Lean” philosophy, have enabled us to retain our long-term customers and attract many new ones.  Over the last 25 years we have grown to over 60 employees and now occupy a manufacturing space of 40,000 square feet in Burlington, Ontario.  At Burloak we are committed to continued growth.  We have already set up  the groundwork to lead  Burloak Tool & Die Ltd. well into the new century.
